DigitalGreen uses social organization and video technology to improve the efficiency of agricultural extension systems globally. Digital video for extension promises resource savings (human, cost, time) and better accessibility for non‐literate farmers. It is shown that digitalGREEN is at least 10 times more effective per dollar spent than a Training & Visiting system. It has been implemented in India, Ethiopia, and Ghana. In the last country it was used to improve cocoa production.
