This manual on biodiversity and wildlife conservation in cocoa landscapes near protected areas helps farmers to understand: (1) The importance of biodiversity and wildlife conservation; (2) Their role as ecosystem managers (3) Develop strategies for mitigating human-wildlife conflict; (4) The national laws on biodiversity conservation; and, (5) Develop an appreciation of the economic and conservation value of cocoa agroforests. Although the training exercises were specifically developed for use in Liberia, they can easily be adapted to other contexts.
